Visual Iconicity Workshop

As poets, we often limit our creativity to stanzas, meter, rhyme, and so forth, but there are endless possibilities for poetry. In the Visual Iconicity Workshop, we will discuss three types of visual styles poets use: Concrete Poetry, Erasure Poetry, and Collage Poetry. For each one, we will discuss where to begin, what it can become when pushed passed the boundary and how it can enhance a poet’s work with more layers.
